THE MONTE CARLO SIMULATION WILL BE CONVERTED INTO A GPU-ACCELERATED SCIENTIFIC APPLICATION BY EXPLOITING MASSIVELY PARALLEL COMPUTING TECHNIQUES ENABLED BY THE COMPUTE UNIFIED DEVICE ARCHITECTURE (CUDA) GENERAL PURPOSE PARALLEL COMPUTING ARCHITECTURE OF MODERN NVIDIA GPUS.
