THE PLSS HAS PROGRESSED THROUGH DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, INTEGRATION, AND TESTING CULMINATING IN A SCHEMATIC, PLSS 1.0 INTEGRATED SYSTEM (BREAD-BOARD LEVEL WHICH VERIFIED THE SCHEMATIC), PLSS 2.0 INTEGRATED SYSTEM (NITROGEN COMPATIBLE, UNMANNED INITIAL PACKAGED PLSS). THE DESIGN OF A PLSS 2.5 (FINAL PACKAGING WITH ADDED ENVIRONMENTS) IS UNDERWAY. THE PLAN IS TO CONTINUE THE DEVELOPMENT BEYOND PLSS 2.5 TO A PLSS 3.0 (HUMAN-RATED OXYGEN COMPATIBLE). THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE GUIDANCE FOR INTEGRATION OF THE OPA DELIVERY SYSTEM INTO THE THERMAL LOOP TEST BED. ALSO WATER CHEMISTRY AND BIOCIDE DISCUSSION. SPACE SUIT TECHNICIAN SUPPORT- THIS SUPPORT IS CRUCIAL TO THE ON-TIME DELIVERY OF THE ORTHO-PHTHALALDEHYDE (OPA) DELIVERY SYSTEM INTO THE THERMAL LOOP TEST BED. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE SWME (SPACESUIT WATER MEMBRANE EVAPORATOR) TESTING SUPPORT; PRIMARY OXYGEN REGULATOR/SECONDARY OXYGEN REGULATOR TESTING SUPPORT; PLSS 2.0 CABLE CALIBRATION; GENERAL MAINTENANCE AND CALIBRATION ENGINEERING CONSULT FOR PLSS 2.0 MECHANICAL- CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW THE PLSS SCHEMATICS IN CONTEXT TO LESSONS LEARNED FROM DEVELOPMENT OF A SIMILAR SYSTEM AS PART OF THE SHUTTLE/ISS EMU PROGRAM. AS PART OF THE REVIEWS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONSIDER THE LESSONS LEARNED FROM THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SHUTTLE/ISS EMU.
