THE CONTRACTOR SHALL WORK WITH THE SBRS TEAM TO GATHER THE NECESSARY BACKGROUND INFORMATION FOR CONDUCTING CHARRETTE 1. IN PREPARATION, THE SBRS CORE TEAM WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING THE INPUT ON LEGACY CAPABILITIES, PRIMARY USE-CASES, POTENTIAL USER REQUIREMENTS, STATE OF THE ART TECHNOLOGIES, AND ARCHITECTURE CANDIDATES THAT WILL BE USED TO BRIEF THE CHARRETTE PARTICIPANTS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL RECOMMEND HOW BEST TO PACKAGE AND PRESENT THIS INFORMATION TO THE CHARRETTE PARTICIPANTS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ASSIST IN THE PREPARATION OF THIS REFERENCE DATA PACKAGE. THE CONTRACTOR WILL SUPPORT THE PREPARATORY TELECONFERENCE WITH THE CHARRETTE PARTICIPANTS TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. THIS INCLUDES PROVIDING A BRIEFING THAT ORIENTS THE PARTICIPANTS, PREPARES THEM FOR THE EVENT / SETS EXPECTATIONS, AND PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS. 2. CHARRETTE EXECUTION THE CHARRETTE WILL BE A 2-DAY EVENT HELD AT NASA GODDARD. CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL SHALL FACILITATE THE CHARRETTE, ACTING AS AN IMPARTIAL MODERATOR, ENSURING ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT OF PARTICIPANTS, ADHERENCE TO SCHEDULE, ETC. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RECORDING OF ALL PRODUCTS GENERATED (INPUT AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CHARRETTE PARTICIPANTS), CONSISTENT WITH CHARRETTE OBJECTIVES STATED ABOVE, DURING THE EXECUTION OF THE CHARRETTE. 3. POST-CHARRETTE FOLLOW UP THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATION AND ASSEMBLY OF ALL CHARRETTE PRODUCTS (DOCUMENTATION) INTO A REPORT TO BE USED FOR FOLLOW-ON SBRS ACTIVITIES. 4. GENERAL SUPPORT THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUPPLY A PRIMARY CONTACT PERSON (HALF-TIME FOR PLANNING PURPOSES) WHO WILL WORK DIRECTLY WITH NASA/GSFC PERSONNEL ON THE CHARETTE PREPARATION AND EXECUTION. IF NECESSARY THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUPPLY SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS IN SPACE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AS REQUIRED.
