THESE THRUST AREAS REQUIRE STATE-OF-THE-ART EXPERTISE IN DISCIPLINES SUCH AS DETECTORS, COMPONENTS, DATA SYSTEMS FOR INSTRUMENTS, LAUNCH VEHICLE OPTIONS AND CAPABILITIES, AIRCRAFT, BALLOONS, IN SITU PLATFORMS, DATA CAPTURE AND PROCESSING, SENSOR WEBS, AND AUTONOMOUS-OPERATION TECHNOLOGIES. NASA RESEARCH ANNOUNCEMENTS (NRAS), BROAD AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENTS (BAAS), REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION (RFIS), AND OTHER SOLICITATIONS ARE ISSUED FOR THE VARIOUS PROGRAM AREAS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT A LIST ENUMERATING THE REVIEWER ASSIGNED TO EACH PROPOSAL AND A BRIEF RATIONALE FOR THE ASSIGNMENT. THE CONTRACTOR REVIEWERS SHALL PERFORM AN OBJECTIVE REVIEW OF THE ASSIGNED PROPOSALS.
